Responsibilities

Lead Health Coach serves dual functions as a Health Coach and as a leader in the Contact Center by supporting the Coaching Services Manager and providing guidance to other Health Coaches. The Lead Health Coach delivers coaching in an efficient and effective manner to ensure that each interaction is valuable to the participant. This position also helps ensure coaching operations are managed effectively and is responsible for being available to coaches to answer client and system related questions during his/her designated shift. 80% of a Lead Health Coach’s time will be devoted to coaching responsibilities and will include the following: Manage individual caseload Meet and exceed standards for productivity and quality Attend all necessary clinical, client, and operational meetings and trainings Maintain all necessary certifications and licensures for coaching l 20% of a Lead Health Coach’s time will be devoted to leadership responsibilities and will include the following: Send out secure message and telephonic tasks on a daily basis (including Saturdays)Monitor service levels and tasks related to performance guarantees Serve as resource for other Health Coaches; answer client and system questions Work with other departments to solve member and coach issues in a timely manner Perform quality checks on Health Coaches Execute the lifestyle coaching referral process on a daily basisDocument participant satisfaction alerts and take action when needed Attend management and client-related meetings as necessary Proactively identify opportunities for improvement within systems and processes and work with the Coaching Services Manager to implement changes

Bachelor's Degree in a health related discipline including nursing, dietetics, exercise science, counseling, social work, or health education required (Master’s Degree preferred) OR Registered Nurse licensed in the state of TN, Registered Dietician, or Licensed Therapist. l Maintenance of active licensure and/or registration required. Experience Minimum 1 year of clinical experience OR 1 year experience in health and wellness coaching, personal training, health education, counseling or social work required l Skills/Certifications American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) certification is required within one year of employment. ACSM Health Fitness Specialist certification is preferred; however, per the coach’s area of clinical specialty, other ACSM-based certifications are acceptable. l l Demonstration of outstanding productivity and quality measures within the health coaching position l Analytical skills including gap analysis at the client level l Demonstrated leadership qualities l Excellent presentation, group/meeting facilitation skills l Demonstrated ability to motivate and encourage employees, with ability to deliver and receive feedback l Demonstrated skills in judgment, critical thinking, diplomacy and positive relationship building l Outstanding time management skills, with ability to multi-task and meet deadlines/deliverables. l Commitment to high quality and high production l Positive attitude, self driven, proactive, results driven l PC literacy
